Day 26 on Lexapro.

Day 3 on Lamactil.

written three days later.

All that I really have to say about this day is that the laundry got done. That’s right. The laundry got done.

For weeks it had been piling up…load after load. At first it was piled in an overwhelming heap on the laundry room floor. Then I would get lost in the middle of loads and realize that some of our wardrobe and had been sitting in the washer for three days. After having been washed.

Yikes.

Then, I would have to rewash them and dry them. After that, I would pile them on my dining room table. Why, I don’t know. I guess because they didn’t have anywhere else to go.

Finally, in a brave attempt to tackle folding, I moved them to the couch. Well, they sat there for an extended period of time, too.

But this day, it all got done. It all got done!

What an overwhelming sense of accomplishment and relief.

To make the day even better, Em and I enjoyed a lovely dessert made by one of our favorite soprano friends. It was called ‘Zebra Meatloaf’ and consisted of ice cream sandwiches and everything else that is good and chocolate-y. We ate it all up! Yum, yum!

Thank you to our wonderful friend for this extremely lovely dessert – a fantastic reward for finally taking care of the clothes!!
